Are you for real, or are you just pulling my leg? 我们可以这样说:drag someone/sth. down或者pull someone/sth. down意思就是:拖某人/某事的后腿。例如:That last test pulled my grade down. If you're not careful he'll end up dragging you down.
除了push someone,I am pushing Tom for the Excel sheet,还有什么?"Press"。 I am pressing Tom. I am being pressed. I am pressed. Don't press me! Stop pressing me!
I'll never text you back if it's just a mass text. I'll never reply to any mass text (message).
.【“碰运气”怎么说?】Roll the dice原意是掷色子,引申为:to take a chance on something,也就是碰运气、赌运气、孤注一掷的意思,例如:Let's roll the dice and see what happens.
Give someone an inch and he'll take a mile.或者Give someone an inch and he'll take a yard. If you cut him some slack this time, he'll never listen to you. Give him an inch and he'll take a mile.
